Ivana Whitlatch, a native of Belgrade, Serbia, ventured to the US in the '90s, to pursue her college education. Concentrating her studies in political science and economics, she once harbored a childhood dream of becoming the president of Serbia. Alas, realizing the whimsy of that idea, as an adult, she embraced a new role: being a compassionate, yet assertive steward of her community.

Throughout her career as a healthcare communications consultant, compliance and whistleblower hotline expert, and cybersecurity adviser, she discovered that all her life paths and goals converged at the heart of humanitarianism, with a particular emphasis on safety protection measures for vulnerable communities.

Motivated by this realization, Ivana Whitlatch seamlessly intertwines her career path with her aspiration to be its neighbor’s keeper. Her commitment to serving and protecting her community led her to co-found KLAS, where she and the rest of the powerhouse KLAS women work tirelessly to implement safety protection initiatives and foster positive change, embodying the spirit of being neighbors who support and uplift one another.
