Dajana is a financial analyst with a passion for leveraging financial expertise to drive positive
change and improve the lives of others. With a foundation built on analytical thinking and a
dedication to financial security, Dajana’s life path has been marked by leadership, innovation, and community engagement.
After graduating from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade, Dajana's career began in banking as a financial analyst. To further her education, she emigrated to the US and received her MBA in Finance at DePaul University. In Chicago, at her Alma Mater, Dajana has held various positions, including serving as the Entrepreneurship Center coordinator. In this role, Dajana fostered entrepreneurial spirit and innovation among students, encouraging them to turn their ideas into impactful ventures. Additionally, Dajana has served as an internship coordinator, grant and fund coordinator, magazine editor, and StartUp event coordinator, demonstrating a diverse skill set and a keen ability to drive projects to success.
Dajana’ s dedication to making a difference extends beyond the professional realm. As a fundraiser organizer, she has raised funds for various humanitarian organizations showcasing her ability to mobilize resources and rally support for important causes. Furthermore, Dajana has been actively involved in volunteering at Orthodox churches and monasteries in the Chicago land area, embodying a commitment to community service and giving back. Driven by a desire to benefit the underprivileged and create opportunities for the betterment of her community, Dajana is deeply motivated to contribute her skills and expertise to humanitarian causes. Her background in banking, analytical prowess, and strategic mindset make her a valuable asset to any organization seeking to make a meaningful impact.
Dajana envisions a future where she can leverage her non-profit leadership experience and finance and entrepreneurship track record to drive sustainable change. As a co-founder of KLAS, guided by compassion, opportunity, and hope, Dajana aspires to improve the lives of her fellow countrymen.
