Dr. Boskovich Tasic, Dana
Dana is a Board Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist working in the Endeavor Healthcare System. Her journey to medical school began during the tumultuous 90s when Dana visited her cousins in Bosnia and Serbia, witnessing firsthand the hardships faced by the people in war-torn regions. This eye-opening experience compelled her to utilize her opportunities to effect change and alleviate suffering wherever possible.
Dana's desire to help underserved communities led her to embark on a medical mission trip to Honduras, where she provided vital healthcare services to those lacking access to proper medical facilities. This trip left a will to do more as she witnessed the resilience and gratitude of individuals who walked miles seeking medical care. Another trip with Lifeline to Serbia allowed her to recognize the needs and provide help for orphanages, a mental health center, and a youth center, bringing hope and smiles to countless faces, just grateful not to be forgotten.
In addition to her impactful work in the medical field, Dana, alongside her husband Ivan, is actively involved in philanthropic endeavors aimed at supporting vulnerable populations, particularly children and women. Together, they serve on the board of Our Serbs, an organization committed to improving the lives of people in Serbia and Kosovo and Metohija.
Their efforts extend beyond borders, as they support various initiatives dedicated to animal welfare and the betterment of society as a whole. They also support their church and are grateful for the support that the church has given them over the years.
